Year 6 have had a wonderful scientific experience this morning dissecting a pigs heart as part of the current unit - animals including humans. We were very proud of how mature the children were. We investigated the entire organ - from the aorta to the intricate veins and arteries. They can now understand the term - pulling on the heart strings!
