On Wednesday 20th July, ten boys from Year 6 took part in the North Devon Primary Schools football tournament. In a very close fought contest, Newport won silver medals for finishing in second place, having narrowly lost out on top spot on goal difference to Marwood, with both teams winning three games and drawing two. The other schools involved were Fremington, Orchard Vale, Our Lady's and Bradworthy. The boys should be proud of their efforts, the quality of their football and the way in which they conducted themselves. Well done to all of those involved.
