Ten boys from Year 6 represented Newport at the Barnstaple Primary Schools Football Competition on Thursday 31st March at Park School. After four wins and a draw during the group stages, Newport beat Orchard Vale 3-0 in the semi-finals before winning 1-0 against Our Lady's in a tightly contested final. Newport will now go on to the North Devon finals in July. Congratulations to all of those boys involved. Well done!
