Year 5 The Journey of a Banana

In year 5 this week, we have started our new writing unit inspired by the book, The Everyday Journeys of Ordinary Things. We have been focusing on the Journey of a banana and were set the challenge of working out the process of how a banana reaches our supermarkets by using the images in the text. The children showed great collaboration and were able to present their thinking to the whole class.
