Year 5 The Gherkin in London

As part of our learning in art, year 5 have been focusing on their observational drawing and sketching skills. This half term, our focus artist is Stephen Wiltshire, who impressively sketches landscapes and buildings from memory! We practised our observational drawing skills by sketching some items within our classroom before attempting to mimic Wiltshire’s style by sketching his version of ‘ The Gherkin in London’
