Year 2 have been very busy this week! We have been learning about the artist William Morris who designed lots of patterned wallpapers - everybody thought carefully about the patterns they liked and what they reminded them of. After this, year 2 created their Modroc hot air balloons - in which everyone demonstrated brilliant team work. Next week, when they are completely dry, we will be designing our own patterns based on the wallpaper designer, William Morris, to decorate our Modroc hot air balloons as in our history this term, we found out that the first hot air balloon was made out of wallpaper and silk!
