On Friday Year 2 spent a wonderful day at Rosemoor gardens. We learnt what a plant needs to grow and how bees pollinate plants. We were taken around different areas of the garden to find things to use in a piece of art; the different colours we discovered in the rose garden were amazing! We then used what we had found to make some beautiful flower collages. We also got the chance to plant our own pumpkin seeds that we are hoping will grow into seedlings before the end of term.
We had a fantastic time and the children were a credit to the school throughout.
