Year 2 have had a brilliantly busy week this week; we have been learning about Claude Monet in art and how he uses colour to show different weather, times of day and season. After reading the story of Emma Jane's story in literacy, we decided that Emma Jane could visit Barnstaple so, after practising using oil pastel techniques and drawing landmarks of Barnstaple, we created our very own 'town scape' for Barnstaple.
On Remembrance Day, we also weaved our very own Go Wild! poppies after our two-minute silence.
