Year 1 Seasonal Changes

Over the half term, Year 1 have been observing the seasonal changes happening in Autumn by noticing the change in temperature, weather and colours of the leaves. Using their learning in science, the children have applied it in other areas to collect Autumnal objects to make Autumn animals in the workshop for D&T, made weather bottles for the class to record the weather daily, mixed primary colours with paint to print leaves and threading leaves to make leaf suncatchers to catch the disappearing sunny weather.
