The children have been having great fun with our pirate topic this week. We learnt all about the history of pirate flags and the meaning behind the different symbols. We also learnt how pirates used flags to trick people into coming close to them. Then the children had a go at making their own jolly rogers which turned out brilliantly.
We have also started building pirate ships. Look again next week to see how they turn out!
