Reception Hot Cross Buns

Reception have been learning about how Christians celebrate Easter. Tessa and Tom (our persona dolls) have shared how Jesus arrived in Jerusalem, how he died on the cross and the belief that he came back to life. Tom noticed that hot cross buns are round like the stone rolled away from the tomb where Jesus was buried. They also noticed that there was a cross on the top of the buns. This week, we have been baking hot cross buns and enjoyed tasting them too!
